Dragon year!

Just a few more hours to the dragon year!

Wooo! Just had steamboat and I am very full right now.

So excited for tomorrow! Got good food to eat, can get together with family, can get ang bao etc. (Me getting more and more money face)

And there is 3 days of holidays! (Our polytechnic principal announced 1 more day of holiday for us)

Just that there is lots of homework to do and final exams soon. Think I might bring homework to do tomorrow cause there will be a time when we get bored cause the adults will be playing mahjong which is something I don’t play.

I am quite bored now. Going to stay up till 12 today. It’s actually a tradition for chinese children to stay up till 12 on eve of lunar new year. It is call 守睡 in mandarin and it is said that it will extend their parents life.

Really busy…

This is only the 2nd week of the term but I am so busy with school work such as formal reports, projects, case based learning and tutorials. Didn’t manage to get to write much of my story. Planned to post a part every week but haven’t done so for this week. And this weekend I am going to be busy as well, there is a make up lesson on Saturday, need to go school at 9 in the morning. On Sunday, there is a reunion dinner with the family from my dad’s side cause lunar new year is less than 2 weeks away. It will be a long weekend holiday that I am looking forward to, somewhat making me really not in the mood to study. But this is a really bad thing cause the final exams is just 4 weeks after the lunar new year! Argh! And this time round, there is no 1 week of study break. This is so bad, really bad… To people who says poly is easy, you guys are wrong! It is just that we get to enjoy our school life better, cause we are not stressed by teachers everyday.

Bought this today!

JJ Lin’s album! Been visiting the CD store for the past 3 days but as you know, Singapore is a little slow so it was only put on racks today when it is released in Taiwan on 31st of December. And I purposely didn’t went to see on that day itself instead was 2 days later on Monday. Even though a few days late but I am still very happy that I finally got my hands on this album!

And I really like most of the songs in this album.

Brand New Year

1st of January 2012. To everyone out there, how is your first day of 2012?

Mine was a boring one. I stayed at home all day doing my homework, played some online games, watch some teevee and listen to new songs from my favourite singer, JJ Lin. Putting it on looped apparently cause almost all the songs are superb! Going buy his album tomorrow, hopefully there is still stocks since it will only be the third day it is released.

Last day of 2011

It is the last day of the year already. Shall make some new year resolutions (though I know I seldom complete all).

1. I want to do well for my final semester exams in the end of February (it’s also the final exams for year 1). I don’t want to repeat any modules and I hope I can score better this time round.

2. Lose some weight (which I think will not be very successful).

3. Write regularly for my new blog.

Guess that is about it. I don’t really make new year resolutions…

I want to watch one of Taiwan’s countdown party but I can’t find any website that has the live stream for that channel. Guess I will have to watch it after someone posted the recorded one.

Hope everyone spend their last day of 2011 well.

Something I shouldn’t say

I know I should not say or even feel this way but I really really really really hate my dad! Especially when he is at home during the weekdays because he took day offs. He doesn’t understand us since young and he never tried too so he doesn’t really know how to communicate with us. And my brother is just like him, very temperamental, so when my brother is doing stuff and my dad says things that irritate him, he will shout back and this time my dad gets heated up as well and will start talking to him at a louder voice. This just makes the whole house become more noisy. In addition, this morning, he wants to clean the windows in my room and I didn’t allow him cause there is my table blocking it. I know his style is that he won’t even take note where the stuffs are originally at and after shifting it, he won’t shift back to the exact place and may even make a mess, not to say it’s my study table and there are lots of books and document trays. And he keep asking me to let him wipe till I got really angry. Plus I wanted to do my report in my room so if he is cleaning, I can’t do it. Last of all, I think he doesn’t know how to clean it cause all this while, the cleaning window job is done by my mum and I.

Conclusion: with him around at home, my day always turns to a bad one.

2011 is coming to an end

Not really posting frequently… Saw my friend’s blog and it made me feel like posting a post on mine.

It’s 29 December already! 2011 is coming to an end! This year just went pass really fast. It’s been a year of fun and a really new year as in since it is the start of another education level: polytechnic. Met really lots of new friends and also after I left secondary school, I really learn to appreciate my secondary school friends more. Everytime we get together during the holidays, we had lots of fun.

As the year ends, my term holidays is also coming to an end. And I haven’t finish my homework! I am so going to die. :X
