I really hate my brother for always creating troubles for me. I really hate him for always annoying me. He always say that I want to argue with him but he is always the one that come to me and start a fight. He blame me for this and that saying that I am the one who always makes him angry. He cursed me for not getting a GPA of >3.5. He always thinks that he is the most clever person in the whole world. He’s so self-centred. I really had enough. Tolerated since 3 years back cause he had mental illness. But enough is enough! Shall ignore him from now on. His presence is suffocating me. I want to grow up faster and leave the house. I will never acknowledge him as my brother anymore.

Had exams these 3 days. Not even a day break in between. But well, at least now I left 1 paper which is the one that got most things to study, A&P. Luckily the schedule is set in a way there is 3 days for us to study 10 chapters.

Shall rest for today and start studying tomorrow. I am so tired today cause I didn’t sleep much last night to study for today’s paper, Basic biochem. Luckily almost all the things I studied for came out. Except that I got some MCQ wrong cause the things the lecturer ask are small details that I actually didn’t memorise, just that I know there is such a thing. Do feel a bit wasted, I hope it won’t affect me from getting an A.

On bus right now and blogging with phone for the first time.
Just saw JJ Lin’s newest blog post and I hope to have a boyfriend like him in future. He’s so sweet that for his past few relationships, he don’t mind shopping with his girlfriend for hours, allowing them to dress him up (like kenny, haha, btw that his particular post title) and even help his girlfriend to pick clothes that are nice on her.
I wish my future boyfriend will be willing to shop with me… Don’t need to be frequent. Just once a while, is enough for me. And if possible, even give me some tips when I am choosing clothings. Tell me truthfully what is nice on me. I don’t mind being like a Barbie (okay not in the fake or pretty part but rather being dress up). It will be nice. And it will be more perfect if once in a while we go into a shop together and spot on the same clothes.
Wonder if it will even come true. With me not being pretty, I don’t even know if I can even get a boyfriend.

My favourite album for January

It is none other than the album from my favourite singer, JJ Lin. The album title is “Lost N Found”.

I think that this is one of his best album. He actually spent 2 years preparing this album so probably that’s why he had more time to compose really good songs. Also this album is one where he really tells everyone about the lows in his life especially in love relationship. Everyone knows he composes his own music and of course it’s the same this time round. And also, he really has a great voice!

This album consist a wide range of genres and there are some which he tries the first time. We have the 3rd track, Romantic Mystery, that is old European style (he even sang 3 sentences in French), there is the Broadway Jazz which is the 8th track, Cinderella, there is the electronic pop and the track Variation 25: Clash of The Soul which is the combination of classical and modern music. There are of course genre that he usually does, the up-beat one (Aries), the China style where he focus on Shanghai this time round (Streets of Old Shanghai) and his famous love songs… Among the love songs, I particularly wants to talk about Never Learn, Nonexistent and Love U U. This three songs are the ones that he composed during the period when he is feeling very low. You can hear from the music that when he was composing it, he must be on the verge of breaking down into tears or was even tears already. He also put a lot of feelings when singing the songs.

Not only is the music genres of this album wonderful, the people he worked with for this album is fantastic as well. There is Vincent Fang, Qing Feng from the band Sodagreen, Albert Leung (more commonly known as Lin Xi) and Yao Ruo Long. Also for the song Clash of The Soul, he worked together with one of the world famous pianist from China, Lang Lang.

This album is really full of surprises. He even went to Czech Republic and Switzerland to take photos for the album cover and lyrics book and filmed two music videos there. All the songs are nice so I don’t know which to recommend so I think that everyone should listen to the whole album at least once. It will be worth it!

You guys should listen to his live performance, especially those when he plays the piano and sing at the same time. It’s really good and I personally think he sounds better than the CD which is already very good.

Dragon year!

Just a few more hours to the dragon year!

Wooo! Just had steamboat and I am very full right now.

So excited for tomorrow! Got good food to eat, can get together with family, can get ang bao etc. (Me getting more and more money face)

And there is 3 days of holidays! (Our polytechnic principal announced 1 more day of holiday for us)

Just that there is lots of homework to do and final exams soon. Think I might bring homework to do tomorrow cause there will be a time when we get bored cause the adults will be playing mahjong which is something I don’t play.

I am quite bored now. Going to stay up till 12 today. It’s actually a tradition for chinese children to stay up till 12 on eve of lunar new year. It is call 守睡 in mandarin and it is said that it will extend their parents life.

Really busy…

This is only the 2nd week of the term but I am so busy with school work such as formal reports, projects, case based learning and tutorials. Didn’t manage to get to write much of my story. Planned to post a part every week but haven’t done so for this week. And this weekend I am going to be busy as well, there is a make up lesson on Saturday, need to go school at 9 in the morning. On Sunday, there is a reunion dinner with the family from my dad’s side cause lunar new year is less than 2 weeks away. It will be a long weekend holiday that I am looking forward to, somewhat making me really not in the mood to study. But this is a really bad thing cause the final exams is just 4 weeks after the lunar new year! Argh! And this time round, there is no 1 week of study break. This is so bad, really bad… To people who says poly is easy, you guys are wrong! It is just that we get to enjoy our school life better, cause we are not stressed by teachers everyday.

Bought this today!

JJ Lin’s album! Been visiting the CD store for the past 3 days but as you know, Singapore is a little slow so it was only put on racks today when it is released in Taiwan on 31st of December. And I purposely didn’t went to see on that day itself instead was 2 days later on Monday. Even though a few days late but I am still very happy that I finally got my hands on this album!

And I really like most of the songs in this album.
