Kite flying yesterday

Went Marina Barrage with Mei Yu yesterday.

Mei Yu brought some snacks and I brought some sushi rice that was pressed into triangle shape and hotdogs. So we had mini picnic as well. Mei Yu brought her penguin kite too so we flew the kite along with some other people there. There wasn’t a lot of people cause it’s a weekday I guess. And at first, we had problems with attaching the string to the kite cause the person that brought it got no idea how to do it… -.-

So we stayed there from around 1 plus in the afternoon to 5 pm. Obviously we got sun burnt and it was quite bad. My arms and thighs are still red now. And it’s a little pain and itchy.

Movie: Lorax

Watched Lorax last Friday with 2 of my friends. It wasn’t a bad movie. The storyline is about Ted’s journey in finding a real tree for his dream girl Audrey. And I believe there is a hidden message on saving the environment and stop deforestation. At some point of time, the story can be a little boring but overall it’s still okay as the characters inside are entertaining! The bear’s watery eyes are so cute and the goldfish choir is really nice. The Lorax is cute that when it floats up into the sky, it has to use his hand to pull his butt up and the part when he rub the two bears together to create static to save Once-ler was really funny as well! Oh and the way the characters converse are entertaining too. The part where Once-ler told Lorax that the lady is his aunt and Lorax replied, “What?! She’s a woman!” was really epic! The story ended well of course and I cried a little during the ending when Once-ler and Lorax hugged together. It was touching to me cause cause, alright I can’t explain with words. I believe you will know when you watch the movie. Haha.

I cannot exactly say it is a very fantastic movie but it’s still not bad. I think it’s worth a watch with the cute characters, epic conversations and colourful scenes where you see inflatable trees and flowers. The storyline maybe typical but at least I think the hidden message is brought through and it even made me cry at the end. It is also definitely a movie suitable for parents to bring their kids along to watch it. After all, it is from the creators of Despicable Me, it won’t be that bad.

Watching Johnny English Reborn later!

Going out with poly friends today! Excited! I also don’t know why I can be this happy. Maybe because we are going to watch movie later at Orchard Cineleisure and before movie have lunch as well as do some shopping around orchard area.

And this will also be a good chance to relax after getting back my 1st semester results and GPA which did not reach my expectation. Still a little sad now but I am going to work extra hard next semester. I didn’t even dare to apply for the dip plus I am interested in just because I am worried that I would not be able to cope for next semester onwards where I need to really work hard. I really wanted to take phlebotomy as dip plus last time, but seeing my results I better don’t. Would not want to not do well for both my main diploma and also for phlebotomy. Too big a risk to take.

Long weekend break

This weekend got 4 days break. If count it more accurately is 4 and a half days since on Friday, school is only half a day. Love it cause can rest for 4 days until Tuesday due to National Day which is tomorrow. But a lot of homework and I haven’t even finish one. Slacking all the way man. Cannot do that anymore! Oral reaching and soon about 2 and a half months is the start of O-level. *Faint*

Haizzz… Should wake up now and go wash up. Then eat breakfast and start work again.

Not to forget that I am going out again.

Forgot to post that Friday went to Kbox with Joanna, Mandy, Felicia and Huiyi. It was FUN! Haha! And the new CCK Kbox rooms are big and nice! The system is also the new one. Hope to go there again but should be after Os. Before the Kbox trip, we also went to Swenson to eat their one for one meal. Never ate bake rice at $6.10 before. Haha!

AND, last thing is that the Taiwan trip is confirm!!! I am going Taiwan this year end from 6 to 12 December. So happy and its the winter!!!

Went KBOX

YEAH!

Went KBOX today with Felicia and Joanna. Hehe. Originally want to go SAFRA KBOX. In the end, it was fully boo so we rush down to Clementi that one.

Had loads of fun cause at times we will anyhow sing and laugh at it. Got one time Feli was so high that she stand on the sofa and do wave. Just then, someone pass by our room and saw her doing that. She was so embarrass that she quickly settled down. Haha! That was when I nearly wanted to take her picture. That person should not have walked pass!

Hopefully can go K again after Os. But I think Joanna mentioned that there may be no more promotion… Hmmm…

Just nice today is my elder brother’s birthday. So, HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY! Be more mature and don’t bully me anymore!
